Once upon a time, there was no such thing as movie trailers. Movies used to be marketed by word of mouth and posters instead. Nowadays we’re spoiled with marketing campaigns for theatrical releases that give us an edge-of-your seat experience months before the film hits theaters. How far can this technique go in the future?
The “after we fell movie release date 2021” is the upcoming film from the director of “The Fault in Our Stars.” The film will be released on January 18, 2020.
Chainsaw Man is one of the most gory anime and manga you’ll ever see, yet it still managed to remain inside the shnen demographic, which speaks everything about its quality. Although the first section of the manga concluded in 2020, Fujimoto was eager to declare that a second part will be released shortly. We’ll cover all you need to know about the second installment of Chainsaw Man in this post.
Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga was officially announced to be having a sequel in December 2020. The “School Narrative,” the second portion, will focus on Denji’s return to school while also continuing the manga’s overarching arc. In terms of the anime, we don’t know how it will be structured or how many episodes or segments it will have.
The remainder of this page will include all of the known and unknown details about the second installment of the Chainsaw Man manga, as well as a possible anime sequel. You’ll learn about its possible debut date, if the anime has a trailer, what the tale could be about, and a lot more about this interesting series.
Release Date for Chainsaw Man 2
Anime News Network reported in their post that Chainsaw Man will be receiving a second portion of the manga, despite the fact that the first, “Public Safety” arc ended in 2020. We now know that the second arc will cover Denji’s life throughout his school years, and that it will be called the “School” arc. You would have anticipated that ANN would also give us a release date, but alas, that was not the case.
We don’t have an official release date for Chainsaw Man Part 2 as of November 2021. Because Fujimoto is working on the manga and 2021 is almost done, we think it will be sometime in 2022, but when exactly? We have no idea. No one appears to know, but keep an eye on our site for frequent updates, as we’ll post them as soon as we have them.
Teaser for Chainsaw Man Part 2
Now, we stated we didn’t know much about the second part of the Chainsaw Man manga’s publication, but on March 3, 2021, Tatsuki Fujimoto posted a mysterious teaser on his Twitter page, featuring some text, a thank you note, and a picture from the impending second chapter. You can see everything here:

This artwork is a teaser in the greatest meaning of the term since it doesn’t show anything. There isn’t much information in the message either. The preview wasn’t very useful, but it’s nice to know that Fujimoto is still working on the manga as we speak.
In terms of the anime, we have no idea what the future holds. On Fiction Horizon, we’ve written about the first anime season of Chainsaw Man and provided you with all of the information we know. We have no clue how the anime will be organized, how many episodes it will feature, or how much of the manga it will adapt right now. Perhaps a 12- or 24-episode season will adapt the whole of Part 1, or the manga will be adapted across multiple seasons.
We expect that Part 2 will be adapted at some time, but we can’t say when or how.
What Will Happen in Part 2 of Chainsaw Man?
At this time, the storyline of the second installment of Chainsaw Man remains unclear. We know it will continue where the first part ended, with Denji returning to school and balancing his new life with his position as Chainsaw Man. So, how did we get to this point? Let’s take a look at what occurred in the manga’s first chapter!
The novel is set in a universe where demons are created as a result of human anxieties. Demons are often deadly and evil, and their strength is proportionate to the intensity with which their matching terror incites collective human awareness. Humans, on the other hand, may form contracts with them to employ their abilities.
Demon hunters are those who specialize in hunting and hiring demons. Demons are born in Hell and have a perpetual life cycle between Earth and Hell, in which they are murdered in Hell and resurrected on Earth, and vice versa. Primal Fears, very strong demons who have never been slain, exist in Hell.
The Devil of Hell seems to be in charge of the passage between the two realms. Under rare circumstances, a demon might possess the body of a deceased human being, gaining part of his memories and personality; this entity is known as a Demon. Demons with a human-like appearance are thought to be benign toward humans.
The historical events take place in 1997, in an alternative timeline in which the Soviet Union still exists and major historical events, such as the Holocaust, seem to have never happened.
Denji is a young guy who is enslaved by poverty. With the aid of Pochita, his canine friend, the chainsaw demon, he works as a demon hunter to pay off his late father’s yakuza debt.
The yakuza betrays Denji and murders him for forging a bargain with the zombie monster. Pochita strikes a bargain with Denji, merging with him and resurrecting him as a human-demon hybrid in exchange for Denji living a “normal life.”
After killing the Yakuza, Denji is contacted by a group of government demon hunters commanded by Makima, who encourage him to join their ranks. Denji accepts and joins forces with the blood demon Power and the self-destructive demon hunter Aki Hayakawa. Makima offers Denji any favor as long as he kills the weapon demon who is responsible for the world’s worst atrocity.
The Katana Man, an angry yakuza who looks to be associated with the Weapon Demon and murders most of the division with the aid of his handler, a former civilian demon hunter under contract to him, is encountered by Denji’s party.
The division conducts a counter-offensive against Katana Man and Sawatari, capturing both of them. Denji has a romance with a girl called Reze, who is really Bomb Woman, a hybrid spy dispatched to catch him by the Soviet Union. Despite the fact that she reciprocates their feelings, she assaults the city, and Division barely rescues Denji.
Denji struggles with her after recuperating and accepts the invitation to leave Japan together. Makima covertly kidnaps her before they can meet again. Denji’s battle with the bombshell lady makes his presence known to the rest of the world. The division discovers that Denji is being hunted by four groups of assassins: the Chinese demon hunter Quanxi, a mystery opponent of Makima known as “Santa Claus,” three American brothers, and a Russian lady training her pupil Tolka.
Denji is accompanied by a security team. Despite the brothers’ defeat and Quanxi’s first retreat, Santa Claus utilizes his demon puppet abilities to mount a large horde assault. Tolka’s instructor turns out to be the true “Santa Claus” and transfers everyone involved to Hell, where they are assaulted by the Demon of Darkness, as a result of Quanxi’s aftermath.
Santa strikes a bargain with the Devil of Darkness to give her more power. Makima is the one who saves the gang from Hell. Denji is assisted by Quanxi, who reveals out to be a hybrid. After Denji has recovered, Makima discloses that the Weapon Demon is a geopolitical asset that is controlled by various groups.
Denji is ambushed by the Gun Demon, who he kills with the aid of people, shattering Aki. Makima kills Power while seeming to console him, revealing that he is to blame for Denji’s misfortunes since he planned to terminate his contract with Pochita by shattering his aspirations of a normal life. Kishibe fights her with the help of the Demon from Hell, and she appeals to the “Chainsaw Man” for help.
Pochita takes control of Denji’s body and assaults him in his natural form. Makima outlines his objectives: to utilize Pochita’s power to erase conceptions from reality by devouring their respective demons in order to establish a world free of fear and pain; her government has given her immortality to this purpose. Pochita is weakened by Denji’s escapades, so she defeats the Chainsaw Man with the brainwashed hybrids.
Denji begins school at the conclusion of the manga.
Is the Chainsaw Man Manga coming to an end soon?
The Chainsaw Man manga seems to be just getting started. The first portion was available for around two years, so it’s only rational to assume that the second half will be available for at least that long. Now, we don’t really know what Fujimoto has in store for us, so we can’t really guess how long he’ll be working on the manga. Given how he’s constructed his universe, there’s enough of material to go around, so we don’t anticipate the manga to wrap up anytime soon.
